Inspired by botanical beauty, our artisans have worked climbing vines, cut-out leaves and small dimensional blossoms with pearl centres across a sheer bodice. The pattern appears to grow over the skin rather than sit on a seam. The neckline plunges into a narrow V veiled with fine tulle. The wide shoulder line rests low and bare, and the back opens to the waist, framed on either side by trailing branches of lace. Long, weightless illusion sleeves carry the same leafwork to the wrist, where each one finishes in raised lace points. At the waist the lacework breaks into slender tongues that spill down the skirt before giving way to soft ivory tulle. It is gathered in layers into a gentle A-line and drawn out behind into a long, unadorned tulle train. The Calista dress is refined and expressive of natural beauty and splendour.
