What is a straight wedding dress?

A straight silhouette keeps a relatively narrow line through the skirt, with little outward volume. You may also see this family of shapes described as sheath or column wedding dresses. Look at the individual dress from the front, side and back: the way the skirt falls around the hips and legs tells you more than a label. A train can extend behind a narrow dress without defining its entire shape.
