Can a maternity wedding dress have a defined bodice?
Yes: the collection includes defined bodices, but whether one works for you needs an individual fitting. Lucienne has a draped corset, a crystal illusion neckline and an A-line shape. Tonia combines a defined waist with a high neckline and long sheer lace sleeves. Their construction gives you different details to discuss, rather than a rule about what a pregnant bride should wear.
Tell your consultant which parts you love and where you need ease. A photograph cannot establish how a bodice will feel on you later in pregnancy. Ask the boutique to assess the specific gown and the fitting plan together. You can revisit your initial preferences as that conversation develops. Bring photographs of the necklines and sleeves you prefer to make that discussion more specific.
How do you decide on colour and length?
Use the colour shown for each model as your starting point; many DAMA designs are also offered in ivory. Request confirmation of the colour for your chosen dress before pairing it with shoes or a veil.
Length also belongs to the individual design. Tonia has a full tulle skirt with a high slit, while Lucienne’s sweeping skirt opens high at the front.
