Chokers
A small detail near your face may be all you want to add. Our bridal chokers and bows let you revisit the neckline without choosing another dress: lace can repeat a motif, while a ribbon changes the emphasis. DAMA Couture names these pieces after the gowns they were designed for. Discuss your preferred accessory and its availability with a UK partner boutique from DAMA’s network.
How do bridal chokers echo the dress?
The Blanche choker is worked from the same lace as the gown and fastens at the nape. It repeats the pattern above the corset, bringing a detail from the dress closer to your face. The piece can be ordered separately.
Melusine’s choker uses dimensional floral lace with pearl-like draping. Its bow offers a smaller alternative, made from the gown’s fabric and tied at the neck. Both belong to Melusine, but they create different amounts of detail. Compare the space each leaves between the accessory and the top of the bodice before choosing.
When might a bow be the only change you want?
You may like your ceremony look and want a small difference for the reception. Melusine’s bow adds a soft point above the corset without becoming another layer over it. Try the idea with your earrings and hairstyle before deciding how long you want to wear it.
The corset collection is useful for considering the neckline beneath an accessory. If you are assembling the whole combination, the wider accessories selection includes larger pieces too. A choker or bow can remain your only added accent.
How do you check that the piece will work for you?
Describe the gown and accessory by name to a DAMA stockist serving the UK. Ask about the fastening and fit around the neck, and whether the separate piece can be seen or ordered through that boutique. Dress availability alone does not confirm accessory availability. Turn your head and check the back fastening too.
